A difficult journey
I hear a loud bang and feel the horse float shake behind the ute. My stomach lurches. I wasn’t driving fast, but slow down further, my hands now sweaty on the steering wheel. Maybe I should stop, but I’m on the highway and there is very little shoulder on the side of the road. Besides, what am I going to do if I stop?
