"Jack fell down and Jill came tumbling after" hilarious!

Thanks for sharing this Jill. Reminds me of when I was a young teenager and all I wanted was a horse!

I was with you every clip-clop of the way! What an adventure! I'm 60 years old and still, the scariest part of riding is the idea of a stumble. Just today I was on the trails with a rider and we were assessing which ones might be safe for a jog or a lope. This was a delightful piece. And yes, I too remember those red clickers!

Thanks Mary. Great to hear you are still getting out there on horseback.

Love your story! I didn’t ride that much, but can certainly relate to your description of the country side. I live near n North Georgia in the US, where, unfortunately our farmland & pastures are quickly being devoured by developers for more shopping centers, apartments, and townhomes. My grandkids will likely never know the joy of hiking through the woods. Their journeys are usually through the malls, or Disney World! Thx for sharing your adventures!

I'm not a horseperson, but you made it come so alive that I felt like I was with you in that saddle. Beautifully vivid! Thank you. ♥️
